Today is my last day at Minnesota School of Business as their campus librarian, and my feelings are very bittersweet in leaving. I have learned so much here from faculty, staff, students & other librarians, & I've really enjoyed my job. Unfortunately for MSB, I wasn't really challenged in this position, which is why I applied for the position at SELCO that I start on Monday.
I begin at SELCO on Monday, February 4, & am taking on the roll of Project Librarian for a Smart Investing @ Your Library grant they received. This means for the next 16 months or so, I'll be doing research & reference work for investing programs for both local libraries, AND the local public TV station. Should be very exciting & challenging, & totally different from what I've been doing in an academic setting over the last 2 years.

This basically means I work with training and the help desk @ SELCO for part of the time, and work on a "Smart Investing @ Your Library" grant the other part. This blog will be about me, librarianship & library technology.
