Doug Orlyk, a 42-year-old librarian in Bensenville, Ill., recently turned to Zaba-Search to find his new boyfriend's address so he could send him a card. Instead, he found out that the boyfriend had been lying about his age -- he was 43, not 35 as he had claimed on the dating site where Orlyk had met him. "I thought, 'You're a liar! You're older than I am!" Orlyk recalled. You can also simultaneously bookmark to several bookmarking sites – make it easy to have one single source without giving up other services. As a blogger and librarian, you may also appreciate several blogging tools and the powerful list function that allows you to bundle a specific collection of webpages, share and even display them as an interactive online slideshow!

It’s also a great collaborative research platform. You can easily share your findings, complete with your highlights and sticky notes, with friends and colleagues.

This video gives a brief overview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RvAkTuL02A
and some recent reviews: http://www.diigo.com/list/maggie_diigo/diigo-v3-reviews

CNet includes Diigo among its Top 10 Research Tools, and many librarians have started to discover Diigo and found it quite useful. We’d love to have your participation and hear what you think!

~ JustinaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522648652837403090.post-61157309108656171712008-03-26T13:36:00.000-06:002008-03-26T13:36:00.000-06:00Congratulations on finishing the 23 Things! I'm glad you were able to find a "thing" you were interested in! I agree it would be nice to be able to jump to a section of a show (in this case, to the next review) that you'd want to listen to. It's not a simple thing to do, because first you need the technology to add the section marsk (not all that hard) but you also need someone to mark the areas of interest within a podcast (would NPR do that? takes a lot of time). Anyway, I like your blog and glad you found some use for our site.

Best,
Justin
Podcast.comjugrotehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15831818828922036679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1522648652837403090.post-4640828489026410712008-02-26T10:41:00.000-06:002008-02-26T10:41:00.000-06:00Hi Rachel,MSB is now using LibraryThing to promote...Hi Rachel,
MSB is now using LibraryThing to promote new books.
